  • Murrumbateman winery trail supported by Yass Valley Council
POSTED March 27, 2019
CATEGORIES General, Industry, Partnerships,

As part of the Building Better Regions Fund, Yass Valley Council has funded $1 million dollars for the development of the 12.86km Murrumbateman Winery Trail.

The trail will start on South Street near Win’s Creek Meadery and pass several wineries, starting with Shaw Vineyard Estate and continuing on towards Clonakilla.

It is anticipated this trail will grow visitation to the region by opening up new experiences and exploring other areas in novel ways such as by cycling. Discovering the wineries by bike is currently popular amongst visitors to the region, in particular guests of Abode Murrumbateman who offer bikes in an accommodation package.
