VisitCanberra is pleased to announce two new marketing partnerships with Link Airways and Fly Pelican to promote visitation to the Territory.

From 18 September, Link Airways commenced direct flights between Coffs Harbour and Canberra, providing a streamlined travel option for residents of the NSW North Coast. In addition, Fly Pelican will launch a new Avalon–Canberra route from 26 October, improving connectivity from Victoria’s western corridor.

To support these new services, VisitCanberra will implement targeted marketing campaigns across October and November in these regions, to raise awareness of the services and encourage visitation to the capital. The campaigns will promote the direct access the services provide to Canberra’s cultural attractions, natural landscapes, and vibrant city experiences.

These initiatives form part of the ACT Government’s T2030 strategy, making it cheaper and easier to get to Canberra through aviation access.
