From 2 December 2025, Qatar Airways returns to Canberra with daily flights. Flights will operate via Melbourne to Hamad International Airport in Doha, connecting Canberra to over 170 destinations across UK, Europe and beyond.
The return of this global carrier strengthens Canberra’s position as an international gateway, making it easier for inbound travellers to explore the delights of Australia’s capital. Flights will be operated by Boeing 777 aircraft, featuring Qatar Airways’ acclaimed Q-suite Business Class.
Aviation access is essential for growing Canberra’s visitor economy, diversifying its visitor base and strengthening direct air connectivity through expanded airline partnerships.
