VisitCanberra has entered into a partnership with Time Out Australia, which aims to produce inspiring content that will increase awareness of Canberra as a leisure destination and ultimately drive visitation.
Running until mid-December, the campaign will highlight a range of tourism experiences, while promoting Canberra’s accolade as Lonely Planet’s third best city to visit in 2018.
The partnership’s features include:
- A custom 16-page A3 newspaper promoting Canberra, with 20,000 copies to be distributed through key Sydney hotels, attractions, bars, festivals and bundled with Time Out December edition.
- A comprehensive digital content campaign, incorporating all Canberra print content, along with extended digital content features and listings.
- An exclusive social media campaign, including ownership of the Time Out Instagram Highlights through peak periods of the campaign.
- High impact display campaign across the Time Out Sydney network.
- Amplification strategy including Solus and weekly eDMs and content drivers.
To help the ACT tourism industry leverage on this campaign, Time Out has developed a variety of partner packages starting from $4,000+GST, which can be tailored to include digital display advertising, newsletter placements, magazine advertisements or a competition element. Time Out is also extending a 25% discount to all VisitCanberra partners.
