VisitCanberra continues to focus our efforts on the United States market through a series of new cooperative marketing partnerships with key travel distribution partners. These collaborations are designed to increase awareness of Canberra as a leisure destination, inspire long‑haul travel, and position Canberra as an easy gateway to Australia.
Current partnerships with Travel Answers Group, Swain Destinations, Signature Travel Network, Travel Leaders Network and Fiji Airways leverage the partners market presence and established customer base to showcase Canberra. VisitCanberra has worked with each partner to deliver targeted promotions, develop Canberra‑inclusive itineraries, and launch consumer and trade engagement through paid advertising, email outreach, tailored content, and agent training.
The United States remains a key market for Canberra under the T2030 ACT Tourism Strategy. Cooperative partnerships with distribution partners ensure that Canberra features prominently in travellers’ planning and booking journeys.
